Yes your favorite carnival is back! King Price and kykNET, together with Matchbox Live, are excited to announce that the Lekkerland Carnival will be taking place on 7 April 2018 in Dullstroom.
This year’s Lekkerland Carnival promises to be even bigger, better and lekkerder than last year! The carnival lineup includes Karen Zoid, Matthew Mole, Refentse, Adelle Nqeto, Bouwer Bosch and The Barbosa Experience. The event is family friendly with a kids’ zone and entertainment by the BDI Street Performance Troupe including jugglers and stilt-walkers. There will also be stalls, carnival food and a bar.
The popular town of Dullstroom in Mpumalanga with its interesting shops, galleries, eateries, stunning mountain trails and scenery, will again be the host of this unique carnival. You’ll definitely want to save the date and book in advance for you and your partner, or check in with a group of friends or family. An easy 2.5-hour drive from both Johannesburg and Pretoria makes the Lekkerland Carnival in Dullstroom the perfect end-of-quarter mini-break… So, make a weekend of it.
The carnival will be held on the Dullstroom Village Green on Saturday 7 April and this year there will also be a multitude of unplugged live music sessions at a selection of restaurants and venues on the Friday and Sunday.
On Saturday the Lekkerland Carnival kicks off at 10am till 10pm. Tickets will include access to selected unplugged shows on 6 April and 8 April at certain venues – but seats are limited, so please book in advance. Tickets are available from 24 January 2018 on lekkerland.co.za
